Description
Metalized polyester tape provides some of the advantages of a metal tape without the associated weight. Mirror-like finish gives the tape high visibility where it is needed. Thin, high strength polyester film meets low caliper requirements which won’t interfere with most machinery processes.
Abrasion resistance protects surface from abrasion and rough handling. Pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive for clarity and long-term holding.
Application:
- Splice detection.
- Applications where reflectivity and low emissivity are desired.
- Applications requiring a conductive surface.
- Decorating and identification
The metalized polyester tape is often used to insulate and mask ventilation ducts, as well as to insulate and bond mineral wool materials with an aluminum coating.
